Deception behind Deception

The Dutchess wants to seek revenge against the Duke for not utilizing his power to save her son, Junior Brother. Her plan, as it seems so far, is to have an affair with the Duke's bastard son, Spurio. At the beginning it seemed like their feeligns for each other were mutual, but we learn from Spurio that, in reality, he despises the Dutchess, her sons, and the Duke. At first, I thought the Dutchess was going to be the villain, but from this, I'm guessing that Spurio is going to cause a whole lot of mayhem and distruction in their lives.
