Take A Look At Yourself

I am learning that Lussurioso, like many villains of higer power, do not like to get their hands dirty. He used Piato to get to Castiza, and he is trying to use Vindice as a weapon to dispose of Piato. His justification of this, "Slaves are but nails to drive out one another" (Act IV, i, 75) is sort of hypocritical. Here he is, causing destruction and planning people's deaths, but legitimizing it by using his status. He is a villain. He is a slave. His description of these "slaves" is just describing his own death. In fact, Vindice is using Lussurioso as his own nail.
